Wendy is an associate in the firm's Boston office. Her practice focuses on defending employment practice liability matters involving harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Prior to joining Melick & Porter, Wendy worked as an employment law compliance manager at a manufacturing plant in Wrentham, Massachusetts where she set up and restructured the Human Resources and Compliance programs.
At Brigham Young University – Idaho, Wendy majored in History with a focus on Constitutional History and minored in Psychology. While an undergraduate, she served a service mission in Panama City, Panama for 18 months. She then attended New England Law Boston where she became an executive comment and note editor on the New England Law Review and published a case comment on Anti-Bullying laws. She was a member of the school's Mock Trial team for two years and became a regional finalist her second year. Wendy graduated cum laude and was awarded the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award.
Wendy is actively involved in service projects in her church community and loves kayaking, road trips, reading, and writing stories.
