John works in the firm’s Rhode Island office.  John’s practice is concentrated in the areas of insurance defense and toxic tort defense litigation.  Prior to joining Melick, Porter & Shea, John was an associate at Olenn & Penza, LLP, where he specialized in civil litigation.

John represents a variety of national corporations in toxic tort matters including manufacturers of air craft engines, turbines, radios, televisions, industrial pumps and commercial and residential boilers.

John has successfully tried cases in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and is a lecturer for the National Business Institute in the area of Rhode Island Insurance Coverage Law.  John is also a member of the Providence Chamber of Commerce.
