Michael has extensive experience in general litigation matters; representing clients in both federal and state courts.  A significant portion of his practice involves employment litigation, and includes providing major corporations with national oversight of their employment suits.  Michael has also served as trial counsel in cases of product liability, premises liability, professional liability, construction litigation, environmental, sexual abuse, and other complex litigation.

Michael remains an active contributor to legal scholarship.  He published an article on liability issues in childhood sexual abuse cases in the MBA Civil Litigation Section News.   He has been a speaker for various insurance trade associations on topics such as sexual abuse, employment law, discovery practice and procedure, and non-profit liability issues.  He is also a lecturer for the national Non-Profit Risk Management Institute in Washington , D.C.

Michael is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York and Wisconsin.
