Nicole concentrates her practice in the defense of complex general liability matters.

During law school, Nicole served as a judicial intern at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit with the Honorable Dolores K. Sloviter. In addition, she worked as a law clerk in the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General, Civil Trial Division and in the General Counsel’s office at Natural Microsystems in Framingham , Massachusetts. Also while in law school, Nicole served as a Research Assistant at the Domestic Violence Law Clinic. Nicole also participated in the Nova Southeastern University Interscholastic Round Robin Moot Court Competition and co-authored a Petition for Certiorari to the United States Supreme Court on behalf of a prisoner who was sentenced to death.

Prior to joining Melick, Porter & Shea, LLP, Nicole was a litigation associate at Morrison Mahoney, LLP where she specialized in insurance coverage, toxic tort defense and general liability defense. She also worked as a Compliance Specialist for Putnam Investments in Norwood, Massachusetts.

Before law school, Nicole was the Director of Education for the Rape Victim Advocacy Program in Iowa City, Iowa , and a Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Counselor at the YWCA in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Currently, she is a Board Member and Volunteer Tutor for the Rockingham County Adult Tutorial Program in Exeter, New Hampshire.

Nicole is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
