Patrick concentrates his practice in the defense of toxic tort and complex general liability matters.  Prior to joining Melick, Porter & Shea, LLP in 2007, Patrick was an associate in a civil litigation firm specializing in the defense of companies in toxic tort matters. 

During law school, Patrick worked as a law clerk for two Boston law firms and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights.  He also served first as an intern, then as a clerk, for Magistrate Judge Justo Arenas (United States District Court, San Juan, Puerto Rico) where he researched issues and drafted memoranda regarding the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII Discrimination and the Telecommunications Act. 

Patrick is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
