Paul is a member of our Connecticut office.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of workers’ compensation and general liability.

Upon graduation from law school, Paul served as a law clerk for State of Connecticut Appellate Court Judges Honorable Socrates H. Mihalakos , Honorable Christine S. Vertefeuille, and Honorable Peter T. Zarella.

Paul has practiced law as a trial lawyer since September, 2001.  Prior to joining Melick, Porter & Shea, LLP in August 2005, he practiced at the firm of Brenna & Isaac in Waterbury , Connecticut where he gained extensive experience in the areas of insurance and municipal defense and workers’ compensation claims.  Paul has coordinated and managed the defense of premises, motor vehicle and general liability claims.  He has litigated numerous workers’ compensation claims.

Paul has served on the City of Waterbury Retirement , Pension and Benefits Board since September 1999 where he has presided over retirement and disability retirement applications of both union and non-union municipal workers.  He was elected to the City of Waterbury ’s Board of Alderman in 2001 and he serves as the President of the Board of Alderman.  Paul also serves on the Executive Board of the Waterbury Development Corporation and for Waterbury Main Street .  He is a member of several social and community organizations.

Paul is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
