Bill has extensive trial experience and has litigated numerous cases involving matters as varied as a class action under the Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act, a series of professional liability actions across the United States arising out of the collapse of a prominent workers compensation insurer, numerous fire and explosion cases, construction cases, product liability cases, and numerous cases involving alleged errors and omissions in the placement of general liability insurance, property insurance, life insurance, construction bonds, fidelity bonds, and employee benefit plans. He has also arbitrated and mediated various claims before the American Arbitration Association and other private agencies.

In 1996, Bill was appointed National Chairman of a Special Investigation Unit (SIU) on behalf of a Lloyds of London syndicate.
