Our insurance coverage attorneys have a great deal of experience in interpreting insurance policies and in rendering opinions on coverage, duty to defend, duty to indemnify, and other insurance contract related issues. Our attorneys are also very well versed in defending bad faith litigation, and monitoring claims. The firm has a broad based practice area in policy interpretation on behalf of carriers and also works with excess carriers, as many of our clients are self-insured companies with large self-insured retentions. We provide early coverage analysis when claims are first presented, litigate complex insurance coverage claims, and employ creative settlement resolutions and resort to alternative dispute resolution whenever possible. Our firm’s insurance coverage attorneys are particularly proud to serve as coverage counsel for Lexington Insurance Company, a member company of AIG.
