Bio

Parker is an Associate in the Boston office. Parker focuses his practice on civil litigation matters, including personal injury and negligence defense, products liability, premises liability, toxic torts, insurance coverage, and complex commercial/business disputes. Parker has experience in all aspects of civil litigation, such as responding to demand letters, motions practice, preparing and reviewing discovery requests and responses, taking and defending depositions, and trial advocacy.

Prior to joining the firm, Parker worked at a mid-sized civil litigation law firm in Boston. Parker’s practice included working on all aspects of national and international cases concerning aviation, toxic torts, products liability, negligence and personal injury, and commercial disputes.

Parker was also previously an Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. In that role, Parker tried more than a dozen cases to verdict in District Court. Additionally, Parker researched, drafted, and argued numerous evidentiary and non-evidentiary motions before the Middlesex County Superior, District, and Juvenile Courts. Parker also assisted members of the District Attorney’s Office’s Appeals Bureau with researching and drafting an appellate brief for an interlocutory appeal in a domestic violence case to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

After graduating from law school, Parker served as a Judicial Law Clerk for two years. First, Parker clerked for the Honorable Senior Judges of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, where he researched and drafted opinions and bench memoranda regarding various civil, criminal, constitutional, and administrative law matters. Afterward, Parker clerked for the Honorable Marisa J. Demeo of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, where he assisted Judge Demeo during trials and worked on various criminal and civil matters.

Parker graduated with Honors from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2016. Among his activities in law school, Parker was a published member of the Catholic University Law Review and served as Production Editor. Parker earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from American University in 2010, where his accomplishments include tying for the highest grade in his Senior Thesis Seminar, serving two terms in Student Government, and making the Dean’s List for three of his six semesters.

Outside of work, Parker enjoys cooking (especially Italian and Middle Eastern cuisine), going to the beach, running, learning about Russian History and Literature, and spending time with his partner and family on the Cape.
