Ryan is an Associate in Melick & Porter's Boston Office. His practice focuses primarily on Employment Law, Construction Litigation, and Professional Liability.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan served as an Assistant County Attorney in the Hillsborough County Attorney's Office, in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he was a member of the Drug Control Unit and, later, the Special Victim's Unit. Ryan primarily prosecuted cases involving Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Child Sexual Assault, and Domestic Violence. He has tried several felony cases to verdict, securing multiple convictions. In the course of his duties, he was selected to receive specialized training from the United States Secret Service at the National Computer Forensics Institute.
Ryan graduated from Suffolk University Law School, in 2021, where he was the recipient of the Distinguished Oral Advocate Award, a member of the National Trial Team, and a Rule 3:03 Student Prosecutor in the Suffolk Prosecutor's Program. Ryan worked in the Dorchester Division of the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and was on the front line of the criminal justice system during the COVID-19 Pandemic. During law school, he also worked as a Law Clerk at a Boston law firm and a Rule 3:03 Student Advocate with the Committee for Public Counsel Services' Mental Health Litigation Division.
Ryan graduated from Providence College in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy, where he was a member of the PC Sailing Team and annual competitor in the PwC Challenge Competition. Following graduation, he worked in prominent law firms in New York City as a Litigation Paralegal.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys weightlifting, reading, golfing, and traveling.
