Steve is a Partner in the firm’s Hamilton and Boston offices. He is an experienced trial attorney in the areas of workers compensation, premises liability, motor vehicle, construction litigation, and product liability. Steve has jury and bench trial experience in Massachusetts’ District, Superior, and Administrative Courts. He also has extensive experience arbitrating and mediating claims through private dispute resolution entities as well as at the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents. Prior to joining Melick & Porter, Steve worked for a small boutique workers compensation defense firm in Salem, Massachusetts and worked in-house at a major casualty insurer. Steve has been a recurrent lecturer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education in the areas of workers compensation. While outside the office, Steve enjoys spending time with his family and playing the piano.
