We are pleased to announce that Matthew Welnicki joined Melick & Porter as an Associate. Matt is a graduate of Boston College and Northeastern University Law School. Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked at Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen where he maintained a litigation practice for five years. Matt is a former Superior Court Law Clerk. As a Senior Law Clerk, he was assigned to complex civil and criminal Superior Court matters. Matt has been recognized for the last four years as a "Rising Star" by Massachusetts Super Lawyers. He has authored a number of scholarly articles, and he has had his work published in the Boston Bar Journal, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, Western New England Law Review, and the Notre Dame Journal of University and College Law. Matt has also served as Special Counsel to the Board of Bar Examiners and as a Trial Advisor for the Harvard Law School Trial Advocacy Workshop.
