Please join Attorney Kate Rogers of Melick & Porter’s Providence, Rhode Island office and Smithfield, Rhode Island Councilwoman Suzy Alba on Thursday, April 17, 2014, 2:30 p.m. at East Providence High School (2000 Pawtucket Ave. in East Providence, RI) for the live web stream of “Girls: A No Ceilings Conversation.” This event is the first in a series of conversations being hosted by the Clinton Foundation, Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton, www.clintonfoundation.org/conversation, as part of the “No Ceilings: The Full Participation Project.” It is intended to start a dialogue with women and girls from across the country about their lives, experiences, and hopes for the future as well as the importance of advancing the participation of women and girls around the world in the 21st Century. This conversation will specifically discuss the achievements women have made during the last 20 years while also focusing on the challenges still faced today.
Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton will be speaking live from New York City and interacting with four schools across the country. We will be able to submit questions for their consideration during the event. In addition, Kate and Suzy will be leading a discussion among attendees following the webcast to begin this dialogue locally and to continue the conversation well beyond Thursday.
